About Racespot

Never run alone again

Racespot is made by Marcellino Sloterdijk, with his company MARSSLOT in Helmond, the Netherlands. It started with a simple question along the course: where is she now, and can we make the next spot?

What we believe in

  1. Supporters belong to the race

You run a race yourself, but you don't do it alone. Racespot turns watching into something you do together, even from a distance.

  2. The runner doesn't have to do a thing

Phone in your pocket and run. The app notices when you start and stops after the finish. No buttons on race day.

  3. Careful with your data

Your position is only shared during your race, only with people who have your link. No ads, no trackers, no selling of data.

  4. Tested on real races

Racespot is built and tested on real races, like the Eindhoven Half and the Amsterdam Marathon in 2026, and gets better after every race.
