What's new

1. Late October 2026

   • Follow along in 3DOn the follow page and in the app: 3D buildings, with the route neatly passing behind them.
   • A new, calm mapOur own map in Racespot style: soft colours, no clutter, so the route and runners stand out.
   • Your map works without signalIn the week before your race, the app puts the course on your phone, so you have your map even in a packed start pen.
   • Following on iPad and laptopWatching from home feels just as good now: runners in a panel on the left, a big map next to it.
   • A new websiteWith a page for every race, the course included, all in Dutch and English.
   • Request a race, change your passwordIs your race missing? Request it in the app. And you can now change your password yourself.

2. Mid October 2026

   • The app in EnglishIf your iPhone is set to another language, Racespot speaks English.
   • Share your raceStickers and stories with your time and route, straight to Instagram too.
   • Replay your raceThe recap draws your route from start to finish, with your pace per km and every cheer again.
   • Stats, records and medalsA new layout with Home, Races, Stats and Profile. A medal for every race, your records in big numbers.
   • Stories of your race and your yearA story to share after the finish, and at the end of the year your own bib with all your races.
   • Widget and lock screenDays until your race on your home screen, and during the race your time and the next supporter on your lock screen.

3. Early October 2026

   • First real raceRacespot ran the Eindhoven Half Marathon, with the app as GPS.
   • Starts by itself in the start penTap "I'm in the start pen" and your time starts as soon as you start running.
