Help for runners

Account and data

Signing in, a new phone, who sees what and how to delete everything. All about your account and your data in one place.

With an account your races, results and cheers are kept safe, separate from your phone. Here’s how that works, and what happens with your data.

Signing in and password

You sign in with your email address and password. Lost your password? Tap Forgot password? when signing in, and you’ll get an email to choose a new one.

A new phone

Install Racespot on your new phone and sign in with the same account. Your races, results, records and cheers come back by themselves. Your stats and medals are there again too.

Your races and cheers belong to your account, not to your phone.

Who sees what

  • Your location is only shared during your race, and only with people who have your link. Follow links aren’t found by search engines.
  • Your supporters see your name, your position on the course, your pace and your distance.
  • You see who’s following with a name, who shares a spot and who cheers you on.
  • Cheers stay with your race for as long as you keep that race.

No ads, and we don’t sell anything on. It’s all described exactly in our privacy policy.

Deleting your account

In the app: Profile, then Delete account. Your account, your races, your running routes and your cheers are then deleted for good. Prefer to tidy up race by race? You can also delete individual races.
